Unhappy Childhood? Unhappy Adulthood Too, Apparently

I recently posted a series of photos from my childhood, showing in each one how unhappy, insecure or uncertain I was.

Turns out, nothing has changed.

Tonight Mr Thomas was looking through his photos, and found quite a high number of me looking none-too-pleased at having my photo taken.

Whether it’s tongue-poking or middle finger sticking, or just plain pissed off, Mr Thomas has managed to catch me in all my awkward moments.

Which, of course, I thought I’d share with all of you. Mr Thomas, in his wisdom, had his own ideas for a photo catalogue: Giorge Looking Pissed Off in Front of Famous Monuments.

Mmm. Not sure about that.

So here, a collection of me in adulthood, still unhappy.

Here we are, in front of the historic monument Arthur's Stone. Happy much? Ah, no.

It should be pointed out (on Mr Thomas’ request) that this small selection comes from the 77 Mr Thomas picked out for me. Seventy-seven! Seventy-seven photos of me looking awkward, annoyed, angry, confused or dismayed. The camera is obviously not my friend…

  1. For someone who does not like the sun you can look pretty unhappy in the rain. Other than that. What is 77 pictures. Thats 1 every (going on the limb here) 4 months And the picture at the about me sure shows your radient beuty. making up for all 77.

  2. Quite Freudian! Stephen Covey has some things to say about this theory in his book Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, with a very positive message. I realize your post is mostly likely in jest, but thought I’d share anyway. Allow or delete as you like!
